How do I qualify? 

You are a member of a family business or financial family with net worth greater than $50 million and/or you own a single family office or a family foundation. 

What is the format of the course?

Each module consists of three component elements to maximise flexibility and deliver an engaging digital experience:
1. Weekly pre-recorded virtual lessons
2. A virtual family story
3. A case-study based Zoom discussion led by the facilitator

Do I have to follow a sequential module order? 

No, you may pick and choose the module order flow although we recommend to complete Module 1 first.

Why it is it recommended that I take Module 1 first? 

Module 1 is developed to be an introductory and foundational module aimed to guide you in defining your aspirations as stewards of family wealth. This module seeks to provide you with better clarity in defining your family values and the purpose of your family wealth before you take other modules. 

How many participants are there in the course?

The course is kept small, at 40 participants, in order to better facilitate and encourage personalised interaction with the facilitator and fellow participants.

What is the makeup of the faculty?

The faculty comprises respected family members from multi-generational family and family enterprise advisors and practitioners. 

What is the profile of other participants? 

The Family Wealth Essentials Series is an exclusive program for wealthy families and current and future leaders of family entities, such as enterprises, family offices and foundations.
For ideal learning benefits, we recommend family teams that include multiple generations, siblings, cousins, spouses and all genders.
Teams might include:
- Current generation of family business owners/leaders and their spouses
- Rising/Next Generation and their spouses
- Siblings, cousins and their spouses/partners
- Family members who are managers, employees, board members or shareholders in family entities – including business, family office, foundation etc
- Non-family senior executives from the family office

Can family office executives participate in the programme?

Family Office executives may participate in Module 5 when nominated by a family principal or family member. 

How long will I be allowed access to course materials? 

You will be permitted access to the course materials for the entire duration of the course and up to 7 days after the completion. 

What other resources will I be provided with?

In addition to the virtual lessons, you will be provided with a course pack consisting of the module slide deck, a book review list, practitioner index and family case study archive for 7 days following completion of the programme. You will also receive module certification. 

Can I take more than one module at a time? 

Yes, you may take multiple modules at any one time. You will need to check your calendar to ensure that you are available to participate in the ‘live case study session’ led by the facilitator of each module you undertake in order to receive your individual module certification. 

How much time should I dedicate to the course every week?  

New lessons will be released at the start of each week and they can be accessed at your own time and convenience. We recommend spending at least 1.5 hours each week reviewing the video lessons. You can review the lessons as many times as you want during the duration of the course. 

Do I have to follow a module timeline?

We recommend that you review the weekly videos in the order that they are released. Participants are required to complete all the virtual lessons before access to the family story and participation the live case study discussion.

What happens if I am unable to participate in the Live Case Study session?

If you are unable to participate due to timing, illness or other factors, you will have the ability to download and watch a recording within 72 hours of the session ending to enable you to receive certification. 

What do I receive on completion of a module?

You will receive a module completion certificate and a practical tool kit consisting of the module slide deck, a book review list, practitioner index and family case study archive. 

Are there opportunities to learn from other families?

Each module consists of a pre-recorded virtual family story, where we invite successful multi-generational families to share their insights and best practices on a particular topic. There are also opportunities to engage with other families on the discussion forum on the course platform or during the interactive case study discussion.

Can I enrol with other family members?

Yes, you can do that with a family package.

How do I engage with facilitators? 

You can ask questions via the discussion forum on the course platform and in person during the interactive case study session. 

Is there a discount for enrolling in multiple modules?

Yes, price discounts are extended for the purchases of 3 and 4 modules as well as the full series of 6 modules.  

Is there a discount for Campden Members?
