Grégoire Imfeld gathered more than 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry, half of which in the Family Office space. He was global head of Pictet Family office in his last years, having joined them in 2008. Prior to that he gained experience as a banker at Credit Suisse and Julius Baer as well as business consultancy experience with Andersen consulting. He also developed investment knowledge by working for the hedge fund company GAM.
His main area of expertise are family offices, family governance and family dynamics. He advises families, financial institutions and governments on family office matters as well as wealth strategies, investment governance and operational governance. He serves on family boards, investment committees as well as family assemblies. He is a regular speaker and moderator at educational events.
He graduated from the University of London, in Mathematics and Psychology. He is a Fellow and an advanced certificate holder (ACFWA, ACFBA) from the Family Firm Institute (FFI). He is on the advisory board of Agreus, a specialised Family Office resourcing & recruitment platform as well as part of the expert Family Office panel for Wealth Management Institute (Singapore). He publishes regularly articles on the theme of family and investment governance, in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. In 2018, he was recognised by his peers in The Family Capital publication as one of the global “top family office advisers”.
